THE TASK

 

Tomie has set his stories in many different places, some local and others very far away.  Your job is to be a researcher and learn some new information about the places where Tomie’s characters live.

 

You have three (3) tasks to complete


A.  Read a picture book by Tomie DePaola that is set in another state or    country.  Complete a draw and label retelling with your group members.

                                                                                                                                                         


B.  Research three new facts about the setting of the story.

                                                                                          


C.  Create a power-point presentation to share what you have read about and researched with your classmates.
