Welcome to Pollard School and thanks for visiting our web site! We hope that you find the information contained here to be useful and informative as you “surf” our site. Please come visit and observe first hand the warm, caring, and child centered school that has been created through a partnership among faculty, staff, parents, students, and community members alike.

We are committed to our three core values: respect, responsibility and safety and we will focus on these values each and every day. We have created a school community where every child’s individuality and needs are considered when our instructional practices and enhanced programs are implemented.

Hopefully we are all ready to start a new school year filled with some exciting new challenges and outstanding opportunities. Please take some time to review our parent-student handbook (located online). Whether you are a new parent or an experienced returning parent to our school community, this booklet will provide you with helpful answers and guidance to our school expectations and procedures. The 2008-09 class lists will be posted on the side doors/church side on Friday, August 15th. We will also hold an open house for all kindergarten and new students (at all grade levels) on Thursday, August 28th. New students should come from 1:30-2:30, AM kindergarten students are scheduled from 12:30-1:30 and PM kindergarten students will be from 1:30-2:30 PM.

Our Pollard Pen Newsletters are also available on our website (Pollard News link) if pictures aren’t enough and you would like to read about the different activities.

Once again, I welcome you the 2008-09 school year and I look forward to working with all of you in the year ahead.
